Ludvig Åberg opened the third round in the worst possible way - with a double bogey on the first hole. But frustration quickly turned to birdie hunting and when the round was over, the Swede had gone from a tied seventh place to a tied third place, at a total of -12.
Norwegian Viktor Hovland also produced a strong round and is about to take the outright lead at -15.
The PGA Tour Finals competition brings together 30 players who have qualified via the season rankings and playoff rounds. Ludvig Åberg is the only remaining Swede.
The winner will take home the equivalent of approximately SEK 95 million.
