After a less successful The Players Championship for Ludvig Åberg, the Swede instead focused on trying to take home the first season of the PGA Tour's indoor venture, TGL.
But it didn't go much better there either.
During the night to Wednesday, Åberg's team "The Bay" lost 9–3 to Atlanta – with Justin Thomas, Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay, and Lucas Glover on the team – and is thus eliminated.
We've had some really great moments, but today wasn't one of them. I think we're a good team, we're obviously really skilled players, and we work very well together. Right now, we're of course a bit disappointed, but we have a lot to look back on and be positive about, says Åberg after the loss according to Svensk Golf.
In the final, Atlanta faces New York, where Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Cameron Young play.
