After last week's third place in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Ludvig Åberg continues to play well. When the major tournament "Players" began on Åberg's home course in Florida, he made three birdies and no bogeys.
One of the Skåne native's birdies came on hole 17, the famous short hole with an island green. The tee shot was almost perfect; the ball rolled very close to the hole and a hole-in-one before stopping for a short birdie putt of about half a meter.
69 put Åberg in joint third place, while many players were still out on the course. He is two strokes ahead of the other Swede in the event, Alex Norén.
