Taylor Frankie Paul is already known from the popular reality series "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" and was expected to be the woman men wanted to date on American television this spring.
In footage released by entertainment website TMZ, she is shown assaulting her then-partner, Dakota Mortensen. Her young daughter is seen crying in the room as Paul throws chairs at Mortensen.
The television company knew that Paul had previously been convicted of minor assault and is now receiving criticism for casting her on the popular series despite that.
