The engineering company ABB made a better result during the second quarter than expected. The operational ebita result increased by 9 percent to 1.71 billion dollars while market expectations were at 1.66 billion, according to Bloomberg's compilation.
Also, the company's revenue, which landed at 8.9 billion euro, was above expectations, while the order intake, which rose by 14 percent in comparable figures, was at a record level, according to the company.
