Aase Berg and Andrzej Tichy are among those who are rewarded when Samfundet De Nio hands out prizes. The authors are awarded Karl Vennberg's prize of 150,000 kronor each. The same amount is received by Stefan Lindberg and Hanna Nordenhök, who receive Stina Aronson's prize.
De Nio has also decided on a special prize of 150,000 kronor to Hans Gunnarsson.
At the same meeting, it was decided to award the society's Winter Prize of 100,000 kronor each to Dimitris Alevras, Elis Monteverde Burrau, Per Hagman, Cecilia Hansson, Åsa Maria Kraft and Sara Mannheimer.
Samfundet De Nio was founded in 1913 and has the task of promoting Swedish literature.
