A person has been shot and several others injured in the Greek capital Athens during a large brawl between rival football supporters, according to Expressen, citing Greek ERT News and Kathimerini.
The tumult broke out before a training match between the home team Panathinaikos and Cypriot AEK Larnaca on Saturday evening.
A total of 72 people have been arrested, but there is still no suspected perpetrator of the shooting.
The injured persons have been taken to hospital where they are now being treated. None are reported to have life-threatening injuries.
Hooliganism has long been a major problem in Greece, where many matches during the last season were played without spectators, according to Expressen.
