Filip Hållander will be out of NHL play for at least three months. Reason: Blood clot in the leg.

It is the Pittsburgh club that writes about the Swede's fate and that the forward will be out for at least three months.

Given the time away from the ice, the 25-year-old will miss the games against Nashville in Stockholm, on November 14 and 15.

Hållander left SHL team Timrå after last season and has had a good start with the Penguins. In 13 games, he has scored one goal and four points, and averaged 13.09 minutes of ice time per game.
