After a DNA analysis dated January this year, the man from Piteå turned to the district court and requested that his previous declaration of paternity not apply.
"The man has stated that, in connection with a DNA test, he became aware that he and his daughter, according to the analysis report, do not share sufficient DNA to be father and daughter," the district court writes, according to Piteå-Tidningen.
The investigation has shown that the man was not aware of this fact beforehand. The court has now decided on a paternity investigation in which both parties must submit to a forensic genetic test.
