The death toll from floods in Vietnam has risen to 90, according to the Ministry of Environment. Twelve people are still missing.

More than 60 of the deaths in the past week have occurred in Dak Lak province, where tens of thousands of homes have been flooded.

Vietnam has been hit hard by rain since the end of October and several places have been flooded in episodes, especially when Typhoon Kalmaegi ravaged the country a few weeks ago.
