An 85-year-old woman has died in a fire in an apartment in a small community in Kronoberg County.
The alarm came shortly after 2 p.m. The woman who died is believed to have been the resident of the apartment. The apartment has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
The police say on their website they are investigating the case as suspected negligence endangering the public.
