On Friday, the agency submitted a list to the government of occupations where there is a shortage of labor, and where the minimum wage is lower than the median wage.
The list includes primary school teachers, engineers and technicians in chemical engineering, but also cooks, cold-kitchen staff and waiters, reports Di.
According to the current rules, a labor immigrant from countries outside the EU and the EEA (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) must earn at least 80 percent of the median wage, but this summer the limit will be raised to 90 percent, which corresponds to around 33,400 SEK per month.
