80 Workers Rescued from Collapsed Mine in Dominican Republic

It was a successful rescue operation for the 80 workers who got stuck in a collapsed zinc and copper mine in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday local time.

No person was injured or killed in the mine collapse, according to the Dominican civil defense.

The mine is located in the countryside northwest of the capital Santo Domingo.
