The man, who was traveling in a passenger car, collided with a truck on Wednesday afternoon, according to the police.
The alarm came in to the police shortly after 3 pm. At 6:30 pm, the message came that the man had died in the accident.
Both vehicles will be towed from the scene and the road will be closed until it has been cleaned.
