An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 has occurred in the sea off the Greek island of Fry, located between Kreta and Rhodos, according to the US Geological Survey USGS.
The offshore earthquake occurred at a depth of 78.4 kilometers, approximately 15 kilometers from Fry at 01.51 on Wednesday night.
There are no reports of damage. USGS classifies the alarm about the earthquake at the "green" level and assesses that it may have an impact on communities on the island of Karpathos and on the eastern part of Kreta.
