"The investigation shows that the man has sent medicine and/or instructions to the plaintiffs on how to go about taking their own lives," says Deputy Chief Prosecutor Carina Gustafsson, according to a press release from the Prosecution Authority.
The indictment concerns events in Norrköping, Nyköping, Västerås and Trollhättan/Stockholm during 2024.
The indictment states that he admits the circumstances but denies any wrongdoing.
The man was indicted earlier this spring in Norway for the murder of a woman in Trollhättan. He was also previously sentenced to eight years in prison for aiding and abetting suicide in Strömstad; he began serving that sentence in the spring of 2025.
The man was arrested in Strömstad in the fall of 2024, after he was lured there by reporters from Norwegian TV2 who were investigating the case in the program "Norway Behind the Facade".
