The fire broke out in the depot near the village of Nizami in the Goranboy district, the country's defence and interior ministries said in a joint statement.
Residents of Nizami and the neighbouring village of Khoylu were moved to nearby areas, Goranboy district head Seymur Nazarov said.
He said that no homes have been damaged and that no deaths, injuries or serious losses have been reported.
