A series based on the book "The Accomplice", written by rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, is in the works, reports Variety.

According to the magazine, 50 Cent will be an executive producer for the series, which will be developed by Peacock.

The lead role will be played by Oscar nominee Taraji P Henson, known from, among others, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “Hidden Gems.” Henson will also serve as executive producer.

“The Accomplice,” which the rapper co-wrote with Aaron Phillip Clark, follows Nia Adams as she investigates a thief who is uncovering secrets about influential people and then blackmailing them. Adams’ investigation uncovers secrets that put her in danger from multiple angles.
