48,000 birds culled after bird flu confirmed at Torsås farm

The bird flu was confirmed on Thursday, and the Swedish Board of Agriculture has established zones around the fenced-off farm to protect other flocks from infection, reports P4 Kalmar.

The animals being culled are so-called parent animals - birds that lay eggs that in turn become broiler chickens.
