Furthermore, a 40-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman are sentenced to prison for eight years, for aggravated robbery and aggravated causing of another's death.
The trio is said to have entered the men's residence early in the morning of January 30 this year, where they, using violence and threats, forced themselves to valuables and money. The 33-year-old then killed the men with a large number of stabs with a knife and scissors, after the other two had left the house.
According to Luleå District Court, the 40-year-old and the 31-year-old have made themselves guilty of aggravated causing of another's death because they brought the 33-year-old to the residence and then left him there with the task of "guarding" the men, despite knowing that he was "psychologically unstable, aggressive and unpredictable", and that they must have been aware of the risk that he would inflict deadly violence.
The 33-year-old, who has admitted to killing the men, has undergone a forensic psychiatric examination, which has shown that he does not suffer from a serious mental disorder.
The two men, who were in their 60s and 65s, respectively, were found by a neighbor on Friday evening, January 31.
