A man has died near Skagen in Denmark.
It was the Danish defense's rescue helicopter that found the man lifeless in the sea around half past two on Saturday afternoon.
A large search effort had been initiated about an hour earlier, after an alarm about a winter swimmer possibly being in distress.
The man, who was 30 years old, was taken to hospital but his life could not be saved.
The police state that his relatives have been informed.
