3,000 International Aid Workers Deployed to Venezuela After Powerful Earthquake

After last week's powerful earthquake, approximately 3,000 international aid workers are now in place in Venezuela, according to the UN's Emergency Relief Coordinator, UNDAC.

In total, there are 53 search and rescue teams looking for survivors from the disaster.

On Wednesday, authorities in the country said that at least 2,295 people had died. Thousands are still missing.
