30 Arrested After Violent Riots in The Hague

30 people have been arrested after a right-wing extremist demonstration turned violent in The Hague in the Netherlands on Saturday, reports BBC.

Two police officers were injured in the violent riots which included stone throwing and a police car being set on fire.

The police had to use tear gas and water cannons to disperse the approximately 1,500 people who had gathered to demonstrate for stricter migration laws.

The government and parliament are based in The Hague.
