For 29 years, Danish-Kenyan runner Wilson Kipketer held the world record for the indoor 800 meters. Now, American Josh Hoey has broken the record.
At this weekend's track and field competition in Boston, Hoey ran 1:42.50, 17 hundredths faster than Kipketer's 1997 record time.
