Dagens Nyheter has revealed that patients were subjected to secret surveillance, including when they had sex or met with their lawyers.
The large-scale, suspected illegal surveillance has reportedly been going on for several years, and the operations manager was previously forced to resign.
The former manager, who has now reached an agreement with the region to receive 2.1 million kronor in compensation, has been identified as the driving force behind how safety work has been managed at the clinic, reports Smålandsposten.
