The building collapsed on Friday. Since then, rescue teams have been searching for the dead and survivors and trying to clear up the site.
Most of the rubble has been transported away, says Hassaan Khan, spokesperson for the rescue service.
Khan puts the number of dead at 27 and says that the operation will probably be completed on Sunday.
The building had been deemed unsafe and orders for evacuation had been sent to the residents for three years according to the authorities. However, a number of tenants have stated that they did not receive them.
