A school building has been attacked again in Gaza. This time near Khan Yunis, according to several reports.

Health authorities in the Hamas-controlled strip report that 25 people have been killed and over 50 injured.

The AFP news agency's source at Nasser Hospital states that the hospital has received a large number of dead and injured.

Images from the hospital show severely injured children being carried in.

Like other school buildings attacked by Israel in recent days, this one was used as a shelter for displaced Palestinians, the news agency reports.

According to reports, the entrance area was hit.

Other media outlets are also reporting an attack on a school near Khan Yunis, citing the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Israel's military has not yet commented on the reports, but has taken responsibility for three other attacks on school buildings where refugees have been staying in recent days. According to health authorities, 20 people were killed in those attacks.

Israel's military has stated in all cases that they attacked terrorists or militant Palestinians who were hiding in the buildings, using civilian Palestinians as human shields.
