23-year-old Egyptian arrested in Örebro remanded on suspicion of incitement to murder and two counts of aggravated assault

The 23-year-old man who was arrested in Egypt last week and brought to Sweden has been remanded in custody by Örebro District Court on probable cause to suspect him of incitement to murder and two counts of aggravated assault, NA reports.

According to the newspaper, the suspicions of incitement to murder concern incitement in connection with a man who was shot to death at the mosque in Vivalla, Örebro, in 2024.

The 23-year-old denies inciting murder and one count of aggravated assault. However, he admits to another count of aggravated assault.
