He was also convicted of attempted murder and aggravated weapons offenses after a shooting at a residence in December 2024.

According to the district court, the man has shown such a frightening indifference to the lives of others that any other punishment is ruled out. The man denies the crime.

A 30-year-old man charged with being an accessory to murder was completely acquitted by Norrköping District Court.

The 30-year-old allegedly borrowed a car and drove the perpetrator to a hiding place after the crime. The district court believes the act involved protecting a criminal rather than aiding and abetting, which he was not charged with.

Praying for his life

The murdered rapper broke through in 2022 and had millions of streams on Spotify. According to media reports, he had connections to a criminal network in Norrköping and was allegedly on a so-called death list of people another network considered enemies.

On December 19, 2024, the day before his 24th birthday, he visited a gym in central Norrköping and was about to get his car from a parking garage, where the shooter was waiting for him. The rapper was shot multiple times, fell to the ground and begged for his life as the shooter approached. Investigators have described the murder as an execution.

The film is decisive

The perpetrator filmed the crime himself, and the film has since been widely distributed. It also played a major role in linking the now-convicted 22-year-old to the crime.

"It has become crucial for the investigation because you can see exactly how the murder was carried out," prosecutor Thomas Ramstedt told TT when the indictment was filed.
