21 million kronor for a ticket to the World Cup final

Four tickets for the final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey have been posted on the site for just under $2.3 million each, equivalent to approximately 21 million kronor, according to the AP.

The seats are located behind the goal on one short side.

FIFA does not regulate prices on the secondary market but charges fees of 15 percent to both buyers and sellers.

FIFA defends the model, saying it follows industry standards and that the revenue is reinvested in the development of football globally.

There are significantly cheaper tickets for the final available through FIFA's own sales.
