The intended murder victim is linked to the criminal gang Loyal To Familia, which is banned in Denmark. However, the 20-year-old man is said never to have committed the crime.
In addition to a ten-year sentence, he has been sentenced to life in prison. The man, who denies the crime, has appealed the sentence.
Two gang members in Denmark were given long prison terms in July last year for ordering the murder. The Swedish man was allegedly given a gun by the men to carry out the murder in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, in September 2024.
