The man is suspected of manipulating the booking site's payment system, making it appear as if he had paid full price - equivalent to thousands of kronor - even though he had managed to reserve a room for as little as ten öre.
He also emptied the hotel minibars - without paying.
He was arrested during a four-night stay at a luxury hotel in Madrid. According to Spanish authorities, the hotel lost more than 200,000 kronor.
