A twenty-odd number of employees at the home care service in Uddevalla are being suspended, reports Bohusläningen. According to local media, there are suspicions of, among other things, threats, alcohol and narcotics within the night shift.

According to Malin Norrmann, social manager in Uddevalla municipality, it is a comprehensive matter.

In this situation, we cannot say that users have been harmed, but based on care for the users, we have decided to let the staff in this operation be closed for a month with pay, she says to Bohusläningen.

According to the municipality's Lex Sarah notification, which local media reports on, the deficiencies include, among other things, insufficient or absent visits and incorrect handling of alarms.

There are also suspicions that, for example, threats, filming, alcohol and narcotics have occurred.

Night shifts will be staffed with other personnel for the time being.
