The shooting took place at around 3 p.m. on a bus that had stopped at a school. The young man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but his life could not be saved.
The perpetrator fled the scene and has not yet been arrested. The police have conducted a large number of interviews and have secured video material, including from the bus. Around 20 people were on board when the violent act occurred.
The shooting is one of five that have occurred in just five days. In those incidents, four young men have now died: three teenagers and a 20-year-old.
