Israel will release 183 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday in the fifth exchange agreed with Hamas as part of the ongoing ceasefire in Gaza, according to a Palestinian volunteer organization.
"Among those to be released are 18 serving life sentences, 54 with long sentences, and 111 from Gaza who were arrested after October 7", says a spokesperson for the organization.
Hamas will release three Israeli men held hostage since October 7, 2023, when the terrorist-designated group carried out its attack that led to the outbreak of war.
An Israeli official, speaking anonymously, confirms that Israel has received a list of three named men aged 34-56 years.
