According to the spokesperson Mahmud Bassal, six people were killed near one of the Israeli-American organization Gaza Humanitarian Foundations' (GHF) distribution centers. An additional three people are said to have been killed while waiting for help in southwestern Gaza, and one person in a separate incident in central Gaza.

Israeli military says that they are investigating the reports, but deny that the forces were at the location where a person seeking help is said to have been killed.

Aside from the Palestinians who fell victim while waiting for help, over 50 people have been killed in Israeli attacks around Gaza, according to Mahmud Bassal. The information has not been confirmed by the news agency AFP.

On Thursday, several people are said to have been killed in an Israeli attack in central Gaza. Witness accounts claim that the attack came when people tried to retrieve, among other things, flour that was being distributed by Palestinian police who had seized the goods from gangs that had looted aid shipments.

According to hospital reports, 18 people were killed.

The attack in the city of Dayr al-Balah appears to have targeted the police unit, which is part of Gaza's Hamas-led interior department.

According to the health department in Hamas-controlled Gaza, over 500 people have been killed since the end of May while waiting at aid centers.
