A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a moped on county road 1039 west of Linköping on Sunday.
According to the police, it was a side collision between the two vehicles. Both drivers were taken to hospital by ambulance and the road was closed during rescue and clearance work.
Region Östergötland reports that the 17-year-old is seriously injured but his condition is stable. He will remain at the University Hospital in Linköping for observation.
The other person, a man in his 70s, was lightly injured.
None of them are currently suspected of traffic offenses, according to the police.
