Pelle Larsson scored 17 points against the Los Angeles Lakers. It wasn't enough. The Miami Heat lost the away game 120–130.

Pelle Larsson continues to make a strong impression during the opening of the NBA season. Against the Lakers, the Swedish basketball star played just over 26 minutes and scored 17 points – a touchdown on his personal scoring record from earlier this week.

Larsson started in Miami and also contributed five rebounds and six assists. He was the team's second-leading scorer behind Jaime Jaquez Jr. (31 points).

The Lakers were still without injured LeBron James, but the home team could instead lean on a red-hot Luka Doncic. The Slovenian star accounted for a so-called "triple-double" (double figures in three categories) with his total of 29 points, eleven rebounds and ten assists.

The Lakers' lead was as high as 18 points before halftime, but Miami fought back to a two-point deficit early in the fourth quarter. Then the Lakers rallied again and ultimately won outright.
