The 16-year-old is suspected of murder, preparation for murder, aggravated weapons offences and violations of the Flammable and Explosive Goods Act.
Another 16-year-old boy is charged with aggravated protection of a criminal, and a 33-year-old man is charged with aggravated weapons offence.
"The investigation has shown that the shooter had been in Uppsala for several days, searching for his intended victim, and that his primary target was someone other than the 19-year-old who was later shot dead," says senior prosecutor Mia Sjöstedt in a press release.
It was on July 5 this year that a 19-year-old man was shot dead in the Kvarngärdet district of Uppsala. The trial is scheduled to begin on October 8.
