After a dramatic final audition, 16 participants have now advanced to the Saturday finals.
”The lowest level of the top 16 is the highest we've seen in many years, but what makes this year special is that so many of the idols already have a clear picture of who they want to be as artists”, says jury member Katia Mosally in a press release.
New this year is that the first two Saturday finals consist of duels where the participants compete against each other. In the first Saturday final, Pär Lernström gets company as host from Oscar Zia.
The jury will also get a fifth member in the artist Molly Sandén, who will also perform. In the second Saturday final, Johanna Nordström is the guest host.
The first Saturday final will be broadcast on TV4 on October 18.
