The boy reportedly suffered injuries to his upper body and was conscious after the accident.
The driver, also a 15-year-old boy, is suspected of causing bodily harm.
"We have no information that it was going too fast. But sitting in the bed of an A-tractor is not allowed," police spokesperson Christina Hallin told the newspaper.
