In the morning, a memorial ceremony was held at the Norwegian Government Offices, Høyblokken, and in Oslo Cathedral, where the Norwegian royal couple attended.
The memorial ceremony continued on the island of Utøya, where Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and the leader of AUF, the Social Democratic Youth League, Gaute Skjervø, who himself survived the attack, gave speeches.
During his speech, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre emphasized that Norway stands united both in moments of celebration and in crises.
"It is a force in our society that we must embrace. After all, there is much more love than hate in this country," Støre told NRK.
After his speech, the names of the 77 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks were read out.
