Hasselgren performed the song for the first time at a spring concert. A clip from there was spread on Instagram and reached Hellström, which led to the performance at Ullevi.
The single was recorded in the same studio that was used before the Ullevi concerts, together with Håkan Hellström and the same musicians.
"It was very fun to record this song with the ones you created joy and love with on stage at Ullevi. And it was so fun to meet everyone again. It was almost like starting over", says Hasselgren in a press release from Sony Music Entertainment Sweden.
"Nordhemsgatan leads straight into heaven" is released today, July 25.
