Among the pallets with bananas, almost 150 kilos of cocaine were found, according to Norwegian media.
"A seizure of this magnitude requires a high degree of economic and organizational muscle that only larger criminal networks have the capability for," says Tim Gurrik at the Norwegian customs in a press release.
The find at the distributor Bama is estimated to have a street value of over 170 million Norwegian kronor. It is thus the largest seizure in Norway since 2023.
According to the customs, the cocaine arrived by sea from South America and then by land via Sweden.
