A 23-year-old man is sentenced to 14 years in prison after an attempted murder of two people in Malmö on June 17 last year. One of those who were shot at managed to duck behind a car, and when the 23-year-old was about to shoot at the other, the weapon stopped functioning.
The background to the attempted murder was an assault that the 23-year-old had been subjected to a few days earlier, writes the district court in a press release.
Three men who had previously possessed the weapon used in the shooting are sentenced to four years in prison for gross weapons offense.
