The incident occurred in November last year, when two unexploded hand grenades were found outside an apartment building. An emergency warning (VMA) was issued, and a nearby school was placed on lockdown. The 12-year-old girl soon became a suspect.
Through interviews and interrogations, it emerged that she had agreed to carry out a bombing in exchange for payment, but that the attempt failed.
Borås District Court found in an evidentiary hearing that the girl was guilty of the act, but because she is under 15 years old no penalty was imposed.
