The administrative court's decision shows that the boy was involved in a violent online culture and had an interest in very violent video clips on social media.
The newspaper, together with Expo, previously revealed that a TikTok account linked to one of the boy's relatives was used to glorify mass murderers. When the boy's own accounts were blocked, he received help from the relative to create new ones. According to the administrative court, this happened without the relative understanding the seriousness of the situation.
The boy's public defender has said that the 12-year-old regrets what happened to the five-year-old girl, who was attacked and seriously injured in a playground on July 13.
