The designated manager commented in writing on Wednesday on the first rebellion: "I take this criticism very seriously. No one is without fault, and I am prepared to review my own role and my leadership."
Now 108 doctors at Skåne University Hospital are also demanding that the head of operations resign, in support of the section heads who have chosen to step down.
In a letter, the doctors write that they "see risks to the work environment and to the ability to conduct and develop high-quality cancer care for Region Skåne's patients."
