About Gothenburg

Gothenburg (Göteborg) is Sweden's second-largest city and is located on Sweden's west coast at the mouth of the Göta River. Approximately 600,000 people live in Gothenburg, and in the entire Greater Gothenburg area, around 1.1 million people reside (as of 2023), making it the fifth-largest city in the Nordic region.
