September 9, 07.52, Summary of the night, Jönköping County

Severe Assault, Vetlanda: 06.43 Police are called to a parking lot in Holsbybrunn. On the scene, a 60-year-old man has been stabbed. An ambulance is quickly on the scene and attends to the man, and determines that the man is not critically injured. The man is taken by ambulance to the hospital. Police arrive at the scene at 07.06 and are able to secure the perpetrator, a 35-year-old man. He is arrested on suspicion of severe assault. 
Police have cordoned off the area to secure evidence and will be interviewing witnesses who were on the scene during the morning.

Several wildlife accidents have occurred early on Tuesday morning:
04.59: A car collides with a wild boar in Gislaved, county road 515. No personal injuries or significant vehicle damage. 
05.43: A car collides with a deer in Rydaholm, Värnamo, county road 701. No personal injuries or significant vehicle damage. 
05.51: A car collides with a deer in Tranås, county road 1009. No personal injuries or significant vehicle damage.
